What’s to love about Fort Lauderdale, South Florida?

The sunny state of Florida is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in America. South Beach

The family-friendly South Beach situated in Miami is famed for its deep blue waters and fine white sand. Lincoln Road Mall is a shopper’s paradise while South Pointe Park allows leisurely walks, scenic views of the Miami skyline and over Fisher Island, many walking trails, and a kids’ splash park.

South Florida is blessed with warm weather all year round. The average temperature hovers around 76°F and is accompanies with many hours of warm sunshine through the year. The long and humid summers run from May to October with the hottest month of July averaging temperatures of around 82°F. The temperature only slightly drops during the winter months.

Fort Lauderdale has entertainment options for every need. This tropical paradise is very close to the Hollywood International Airport. Some of the must-visits and must-dos in Fort Lauderdale include:

  • Gulfstream Park hosts multiple competitive horse races almost through the year.
  • The Broward Center for Performing Arts in the Riverwalk Arts District hosts several hundred annual shows including operas, jazz concerts, plays, ballets, and Broadway musicals.
  • The Bonnet House Museum is a historic house lying within lush gardens. Period pieces and fine art are on display within the house. And interesting range of ecosystems adorn the outdoors including subtropical gardens which lead on to wetlands, dunes, and beaches.
  • The most popular and buzzing street of Fort Lauderdale is the Las Olas Boulevard. The entertainment options are endless including theaters, high-end restaurants, a vibrant nightlife, museums, boutiques, art galleries, spas, and beach-facing resorts.
